dont think you can get full headers on it without tearing them up, I have Hooker shorty headers on mine and they work real good, now I just need to figure out how I'm gonna do the duels.....

Re: Headers

well, in general small diameter short tube headers promote low rpm torque, but also make more hp, while large diameter long tube headers promote high rpm hp with a small sacrifice in torque. just a general rule of thumb. personally for a street car i would go with small tube shorties, oval track or dragster, long tube large diameter.

Re: Headers

well, somewhere on here i did a full explination of what it took to install the edelbrock TES headers in my 89 IROC, a little time consuming, a little bit of a headache, and i have yet to figure out how to change my sparkplugs now, oh and you cant use the stock number 8 or 6 plug wires, cuz the strait boot is too long, have to use 90 degree boots on those cylenders. but other than that, im totally impressed and pleased with them.

Re: Headers

uh uh bro, the edelbrock headers route the primary pipes over top the plugs. no room to get a socket on the plugs, and no way to get a wrench on it. so ill have to custom modify a socket to fit. trust me ive changed my plugs before, just with these headers its a whole nuther ball game. i even sat down with the snap on truck parked there, testing socket after socket trying to get one that would work. nadda, so you gotta take a socket, that isnt a spark plug socket, drill it out so the plug will fit through it, and machine down a hex head on the end so you can put a wrench on it. fun eh?
