Ac/Color question

Question 1:
Would it be alright to close off the two AC Panels in the middle of the dash of my 97 Sedan Accord to make room for a Screen.? Unless someone can think of another way..

Question 2:
I painted my brake calipers green, which is my favorite color and I think looks nice, but the interior I'd want a mainly black.. but green just seems wierd to me as a secondary. Should I just do all Black?

(Red calipers look nice too, but everyone and there mom has that..)

it shouldn't cause a problem, but your a/c may not cool as well - and the side vents will most likely blow the air at a higher velocity
