Is their any American equivalent that is exactly the same as any Silvia body style wise? (not counting rhd/lhd of course just exterior panels and lighting)

yes...in my opinion that is still just a 240SX with a body kit...just because the body kit has fenders and headlights doesn't make it anything more than a body kit...there is no way to have a silvia without actually getting a silvia...like this one...

see...right hand drive, CA18DET is under the hood, trust me...and driving on the roads of edmonton at the moment...

if you have a s13 240 coupe and put the s13 front end conversion and then drop a sr20 in it then its basically a silvia minus it saying silvia and being right hand drive but you are correct if it only has the front end then it doesnt compare to a silvia

sorry, I disagree with ya...it's no different than a guy putting a JDM engine, transmission, suspension, and headlights on a ITR and calling it a JDM ITR...it's still not a silvia, you could put in the engine, convert the front and rear ends, even convert it to right hand drive...you still just have a 240SX that has a ot of money into it...no amount of changes will make it anything other than that...
am I impressed by silvia conversions? yeah sure...do I consider them to be silvias? no, they're a nice 240...
