I'm doing the JDM Front End Conversion to my car and I'm just curious which one is better, Metal or Fiber Glass? This is my first time doing this so I don't know which is better. What ya'll think?

Re: JDM Conversion: Metal or Fiber Glass?
Metal is usually the better choice IMHO. In most cases the fiberglass has alot of imperfections that really show up after painting, where the metal won't.

Re: JDM Conversion: Metal or Fiber Glass?
ya, don't get fiberglass, it wont take the abuse that metal will either. It falls apart pretty quick. And like noted above, the imperfections really show up once painted, and depending on what color your car is, the fiberglass will not match real well with your door panel. Definetly go metal. Good luck with the conversion. they look bad A!

Definetly go metal with black. Black is the most unforgiving color there is, but when it is clean, no other color looks better IMO.

Metal all the way....but it costs too much of money....expect to pay 3K+ for metal and paint job....that is without H.I.D.
or maybe you could get a used one....would be cheaper... |

Re: JDM Conversion: Metal or Fiber Glass?

2K+ for conversion only, probably 3k+ paint job or maybe not but set your budget around there....I think it would be chaper to buy a whole set unless if you can get it seperatly cheaper....
