I was wondering does anyone know where i can get a nose and a passenger side fender in good shape, meaning only repainting will have to be done. And does anyone else have problems with there header gaskets leaking. And does anyone think it's a good idea to go from the orignal 403 to a 455?

Re: 79 Trans AM

Have you tried www.yearone.com or www.amesperformance.com. As for the engines it all about how you want to pay your gas prices. Is it a everyday car a weekend car or a race car. If it's a everyday car the gas cost will be too high with a 455( Look at the prices now) If it's the other two go for it
