secondary butterfly

thier is a secondary butterfly baffle in the intake of the 240's is it safe to remove this? i can't see what it does. and it blocks air. is it just to help idle?

trial and error should tell you, take it of and see what hapens.
Ofcourse I don't know much about the Ka I have a 240 but no block.

noise isn't an issue the 240 will never be louder than my TA
