Do you own a car? You could draw your own car. It would be very different compared to using referance pics!

What about something detailed like the 2003 Bently Speed 8?

What you could do is get a large piece of art paper (Bristol Smooth 18x24) and draw something with several cars in it, or several views of the same car.

Something along those lines. I have been wanting to do something like this for awhile, but I need to decide on what Car(s) and if I want to spend hundreds of hours.

Re: master piece??

How about doing an extreme close up of a tail fin from an old caddie. Reflect historical moments from GM in the chrome from the early 1900s to modern day. Title it something like "Grow".

(Critics love stuff like that)

I aggree w/ you guys, something big w/ several diff. cars and/or serveral views of the same car.

I really like that old school sports car GAMsALeh posted.

Perhaps several old school muscle cars or something.

I love the GT-40 race cars.

But, 3 or so car views on one peice of paper would be very cool.

Alfred

For ideas and to get the imagination flowing look at some multi-car t-shirt designs. You won't be able to draw them because they are small but you will be able to see setups and positions of cars w/ various options to add backgrounds.

Be sure to click the thumb nail for a larger image.

Re: master piece??

Andy's Tees

Top artist is a guy named Greg Tedder

He gets about $1200 per design. Has had 2 shirts named top t-shirt art of the year by screenprint magazine.

Awesome dude. He has marker comps in the Thom Taylor book.
