Post 'Safe' stereo

I bought my golf second hand and unfortunately the audio manual book is missing.
I have recently had the battery disconnected and thus need to enter the 'safe code'. This i think i am in possession of as there was a four-digit code in the manual on a bit of plastic - however once i have entered the code i do not know what to press in order for the code to be accepted and me to have my beloved music back - please help!!!

Thanx KT

Re: 'Safe' stereo

If you know the two buttons to push to get to the code entry function then once the code is set just push those two again. If you haven't made it to the display of 1000 you need to identify the two buttons that put it into code entry mode. Different radios use different buttons, usualy its mode & scan or mode & rewind.
