2004 M3 1/4 and 60 -90
SMGII one of the best tranny in the World - and in opinion,the best thing from the BMW
M3 much faster 0-90 mp/h or 1/4 miles with SMGII, because faster ! 70 milisec ! The Ferrari's legen test pilot Bruno can 0.4 sec,and he is one of the best drive...

Actually the SMG is a manual transmission. the same identical one in the non smg car. You could theoretically remove the smg stuff and install a clutch pedal if so inclined.
