A 3D Drawing!

If you go to (takes time to load) : http://autos.msn.com/gallery/default...d&src=surround

I was thinking of sketching every angle of that car as is shown on the page above, and then with the help of someone like Lemorris, I could have a 3D sketch!

There are 36 different angles for the car so I hope you don't mind me tracing the outline to keep proportions perfect otherwise i'll end up killing myself!

p.s Would you be able to put it into 3D like the page above Lemorris? (Or anyone else who knows).

Re: A 3D Drawing!

Woah, that'll be so tedious. But it should look good when it's done, u'll probably be the first person to do it, it'll be like doin a cartoon strip. Goodluck.

Re: A 3D Drawing!

I think so. I'll probably trace all of them, then do a test, and then shade them all using pencil, (colour would take a lot longer).

Get all the drawings done and then scan them. Once you get them all set I'll give you my ftp so you can load them to my server, and I''ll make a quick flash thing like I did here:

http://www.58vw.com/mst_flash/mistietour.html

or here:

http://www.58vw.com/ep15/mistie_ep15.htm
(scroll down to see the rough sketch).

Should be fun.

Re: A 3D Drawing!

Cheers . That would be really cool! It would be new for you also as there would be 36 images instead of 8 in the other one.

Re: A 3D Drawing!

You try drawing 36 images freehand with perfect proportions!!! See my Mustang gtr... that was freehand! I'm not tracing because I can't, It's just it will take ages!

Re: A 3D Drawing!

8 38 136 doesn't matter.

Just make sure you name them sequentially. We'll talk design and functionality later.

Anyone else here use flash?
