i just took mine out of my 2000 lx, so i dont know how much his will help you, but here's what i had to go through for mine. Remove glove box, remove bottom of driver's side dash, remove center console storage unit, remove center console containing shifter, remove drink holder and peice of paneling directly above it. These can all be remove via visible screws. Now that you have all this off you can finally see the screws holding in the radio/AC/hazard light fixture. There are four screws going straight up from underneath that hold in the radio harness (there might also be 2 screws going in from each side which you can now see since removing glove box and driver side under dash paneling). Once you've got these screws out the whole unit should pop right out, then it's just a matter of disconnecting wiring harnesses.
We had trouble getting a screw out and this whole process took us about 2 hours lol. Good luck! |
