Ya, the previous(sp?) owner did alot to it before I bought it. But to many bolt ons with out any motor work. So I blew the rings on one of the pistons. I am in prosses of rebuilding the motor with forged pistons, metal headgaskets and so on.

It was around 400hp at the wheels before, but it should be around 600hp when done. (also getting bigger turbos)

The rims are Blitz 18inch x 10's

Take care,
Robb

Tight ride you got there. I'm so jealous! Sorry to hear that you blew a ring. Any plans to bore it out to a larger displacment while you have the heads off?

OT: was it hard to learn how to shift with your left hand?

Tom

Ya, It did take a coulpe days to get smooth. I also have a old school 280zx Fairlady so I was used to driving on the right hand side. But that car is a auto matic.

I was looking at getting a RB30 block, but I doen't think I want to do that much work to get the RB26 head to work on it.

I think 600hp with the RB26 motor will be enough(for now)

Your a big Nissan fan arent u?

Is the 280 a turbo? I forget is that is straight 6 or the v6? Any pics of the 280?

I'm looking at the new 350Z myself depending on the finalized prices.

600hp! I'd settle for 1/3rd of that right now, my integra is on its last legs.

WEll, my wife is in to z-cars. She has two custum made 280zx turbo convertibles plus the Fairlady. I will post pictures later. I have the Skyline, a 911 widebody convertible(for sale) and a t-bird supercoupe,
the supercharged version.

The Fairlady is a inline 6 non turbo(for now)

Good thing she is into cars to, or elts I would be in big trouble!

Later,
Robb

pic's

Sorry I have been so busy. I will post more pic's as soon as I can.

On the Skyline, I bought it with 30k miles on it one year ago. It is a 1991. I do not want to say how much I paid for it, but I got a great deal on it

Talk to ya soon,
Robb
