Corolla 99 VE Touring?
I recently bought a Toyota Corolla 1999 VE Touring and I was just curious to know whether the "Touring" comes originally from the factory, or whether it was just added by the previous owner. My car has a side skirt which says "touring" and its got tinted windows and a spoiler... I'm just trying to figure out: did the previous owner buy some kind of a pack and installed it himself? or did it come like that from the factory?...

"VE" stood for "value edition" which was the most stripped down model that Toyota sold at the time. I would think that the extras were installed by the previous owner not Toyota. The side skirt sounds more like the "Sport" model that is sold now.
