Which car would be the BEST?

ok from the cars that are in my signature, which one do you guys think would be best overall, now im not just saying in performance, im talkin like everyday driving, interior space, trunk space, base options, lol overall which car is the best? thx

Acura RSX $20,025
Sporty 2 door hatch, looks great, comes stock with power everything, sunroof, decent power, could have cost less, not enough low end torque

Honda Civic EX Coupe $16,860
Coupe, extremely refined, the EX comes with many options, but its really slow, and... its a civic

Honda Civic Si $19,070
sporty hatch, same hp as the rsx, price drops to $16k at the end of the year sales, awkward stance, (kinda like a small minivan) same low end torque as the rsx

Nissan Altima 2.5 $19,050
Family sedan, larger than other cars in comparison, pricey, slower because of added weight, looks great for 05, not sure about options

Nissan SE-R Spec V $17,400
also sedan, smaller than the altima, the most torque and horsepower out of the group, the price is average, doesn't come with sunroof, has sport tuned suspension, looks weird imo (04+)

Scion tC $16,465
new car, toyota reliability, comes stock with panoramic sunroof, power everything, also a hatch, 2 door, looks new/weird, like a mix of a few cars, uses the inline 4 camry engine with more hp n torque 160/163

Toyota Corolla Xrs $17,970
Newest addition to the corolla's, faster, same torque, more horsepower, a lil more pricey, doesn't come stock with that many options, but extremely roomy and refined

Re: Which car would be the BEST?

I voted the tC because it was the best looking, has a supercharger option and is expected to be a great FF Sport Compact.

Why isn't the Mazda 3 on the list? Or the Mini Cooper S? Or the Dodge SRT-4? C'mon, limiting yourself to Honda, Nissan, and Toyota is stripping you of some really nice alternatives.

actually, there were alot of cars on the list before, then the list went lower and lower, i like the mazda protege 5, and the mazda 3 hatch, but the protege doesn't have enough power (for the hatch), and the mazda 3 imo looks kinda weird, but they were on the list before i researched n etc, so far seems like the SE-R is winning, but remember this isn't really about speed, its about the car overall, i chose many hondas and toyotas only because i have/ or have used their cars before and i'm really accustomed to their friendly features

Re: Which car would be the BEST?

if you're gonna roll... roll in style... get an RSX... and also the EX isnt a bad choice... even though they dont seem all that great.. you'll love hopping into it and driving one everyday... thus I'd say EX or RSX... but i hafta agree on the Si. too much of a "minivan."

Re: Which car would be the BEST?

I'd say it's between the SE-R Spec V and the tC, and I'm leaning towards the tC.

SE-R Spec V is fairly respectable as a sporty compact (in my mind). I assume that you don't plan to modify it performance-wise straight off, and with its six-speed coupled up with 175HP in a small compact like that would offer one of the most fun-to-drive cars under $20k.

The tC is the only car I like from Scion. It looks sportier than the SE-R to me. It is very new, though, so I don't know anything technical about it. The supercharger option (200HP) is very tempting; in fact, it would make me buy the tC over the SE-R.

Can't really comment on anything else since I haven't taken either car for a drive.

Re: Which car would be the BEST?

i would go for one of the nissans, but they are both four-door, so unless you need four-doors, i wouldn't get one of those. so really the only other one that i think is good is the rsx. it looks awesome.

yea i think in terms of looks, the rsx comes first, then the civic, then the tc, then the altima, then the corolla, then the se-r, then the si lol, sorry the new look of the si really doesn't appeal to me, but the $16,000 at the end of the year sales REALLY do

Re: Which car would be the BEST?

the SE-R doesnt look bad at all! specially when you get those BREMBO brakes that give your rims a nice look. it looks pretty good for a 4-door car.

i think in looks the rsx still is ontop, then performance goes to the se-r, and i think the tC, and the 05+ altima are next
