problem with steering
when the car is not moving and i try to turn the wheel i find that is it very difficult to do, like i am on a flat tire. its fine at normal speeds. ive really only noticed it when the engine is cold. it seemed to happen all of a sudden out of the blue. maybe it just needs more power steering fluid?

Nah...thats normal just becuase there is more friction between the pavement and the tire when the tire is not rotating...sooo it requires more work
![]() Just for hoo-haaas check ur fluids every week or so, it only take about 2 mins.

Have you looked at your power steering fluid to see if it is low? Also I have noticed that when the tires ware down the steering will become more difficult. Other then that I would say take it to the dealer if it is still under warranty and make them look at it.

![]() i assume there is a line on the container that will make it evident if it needs to be topped off... or should it be topped off at all times? |

i checked and the fluid is right where it should be - at the max.
also it should be noted that even when the car is moving very slowly it is still hard to steer, and sometimes i can hear a strange sound. a low pitched "errrrr" sound, like the car is grunting or whathaveyou. any thoughts? |
