vibrating really bad in low gear

My 93 3.8L is vibrating when I'm parking, or creeping slowly in forward and reverse. It doesn't do it at higher speeds, so I'm wondering if it might be a bad mount. It gets worse when i cut the wheels left or right while in gear, but it's quiet when I cut the wheels in park. I have checked the power steering fluid level often since I noticed this a few weeks ago, but it stays full. If it were a bad pump, would it cause this? Help!

As always, thanks in advance!

Re: vibrating really bad in low gear

Try power braking and have some one watch the motor. If it seems to rise on one side then it is a motor mount.

You can even watch the motor yourself between the trailing edge of the hood and the firewall.

Re: vibrating really bad in low gear

Well, I did the self test, and saw that the engine was lifting up on the driver's side slightly.

Does anyone have a ballpark figure of how much I can expect to pay for this? My appointment isn't until the day after tomorrow, and I am really freakin out wondering how much this might cost me.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Re: vibrating really bad in low gear

Depends on where you are taking it. I don't believe it would be too bad though.
