speedo is off help me out

anyway i can get it fixed? i was doign 70 on the eway and my speedo was reading 80

did you recently swap gears or tire/rim size?

damnit i forgot abotu the wheels. i went form a 15'' 235 60 15 now to a 16'' 215 60 16. is there anyway i cna reclimaberate(sp) this?

Mustangs Unlimited sale speedo gears, roughly one tooth is 5mph if I remember correctly. Give them a shout.

The gear is changed out at the tranny.

There's your problem. You increased rim size, but didn't decrease tire sidewall, and you also went with a more narrow tire, why? You just got the wrong size tires totally.

Stock of that year for a 15" rim is 225/60/15. If anything you should have went with a 225/55/16 to keep the rotating mass the same diameter.

i got my pony rims for 200 bucks with brandnew tires. thats hwy they are on there
