Turn signal problem

My turn signals on my 89 century are not working, nor are the hazard lights. I recently replaced my flashers and fixed my signals but now I am getting nothing again. If not the fuse or the flashers what else can it be.

Re: Turn signal problem

Did you get the silver flaher that you install under the steering collum, there are 2 of them, one for the flashers and one for the directionals.

Re: Turn signal problem

It can be the switch itself. The whole mechanism you physically move up or down to activate your blinkers. The hazards could be on this too. I've had a car that only the brights wouldn't work, but it was the whole switch that needed replacement.

Re: Turn signal problem

I also have a turn signal/ break light problem with my 2000 Buik Century. One break light and the rear turn blinkers will not work. The dealership concluded that it is the switch inside the steering column, underneath the airbag, and gave me a $700 qoute for the repair cost. Any suggestions as to a less expensive fix?
