yes i have a 98 tahoe an when i go from park to drive it kinda hestitates before kicking into gear,does anyone have the same problem??

you better get on it now.

check the trans fluid, make sure it is in the hash marks, not above, not below.

is it dark?
is it dirty?
is it or was it low?
is it leaving puddles in your drive?
look under your truck, is there any fluid on the undercarrage?

if your pan is leaking, it is time to change your fluid.
if you havent lost any fluid, you may have a clogged filter and your fluid would show dirty.
