Got Killed and got a kill earlier

Hey guys. I though I would share my latest racing story with you, and this one actually involves a camaro, so its kinda pertinent ^_^. Well I was coming home from work earlier this evening in my everyday driver (2000 ws6 trans am) and a guy with a 00 SS camaro pulled along the side of me at the light. He proceeded to rev up on me and I gave him the thumbs up and when the light hit green we took off. He had a M6, i have An A4. I got the on him and held it to around 40 MPH, then he passed me and stayed ahead of me about 1 1/2 carlengths to about 105 MPH (we are racing stoplights in the city so couldnt stretch it out anymore then that) Well after he won has asked me to pull over and i did so and we bullshitted around 10 minutes and he was a REAL arrogant prick talkin MAD sh*t about how his car "stomped my cars ass". I asked alittle bit and he had exhaust work done, he had a set of headers, he had the ls1 reprogrammer done, and i think an K&N aitfilter. Well at this point I was kinda pissed and since at this point I was only around 5 minutes away from my house I started with the whole :I got something at home for you" talk. Well he procedded to call me a liar and stuff and I asked him to hang tight at that spot for 5 minutes and If i wasnt back, I wasnt coming back. he agreed saying how he was "gonna prove me wrong" and shit, so I hauled ass home and jumped in the Purple machine in my Sig (71 Nova) and i hauled back back to the parking lot and caught him. When i pulled in he was still cocky, but he had cut it down a WHOLE bunch from what it was earlier. He then started talking shit about how that my "old" 71 nova couldnt compete with the new technology his car had. I told him to put some money on it that It could, and he agreed. Loser fills up the winners tank, very friendly bet.
We then proceeded to line the cars up, and this is city racing, so its almost EXACTLY 1/4 mile between stoplights. I told him we would start at one light and finish at the other since it was around 1/4 mile and he agreed. Well I wanted to make a statement, and it was hands down the hardest I have ever ran my car, but i STOMPED his ass. Through 1st I kept around a 1/2 car lenght lead on him then When shifting into second I opened it to around a 1 car length lead and as soon as I hit 3rd i started juicing it and by the time we both passed under the light I had beat him by around 3-4 carlengths. Well I waited for him to get along side of me and told him to follow mw to the gas station I pulled into. I must say he was good about that.. most chickenshits runoff or something, but he pulled in and silently paid for my gas. He was speechless the entire time and I was smiling from ear to ear.

Just though I would share this story with you guys because I find it pretty unique.

Nice kill Rob..........now set us straight, is the nova blue or purple?? it does kinda look blue in the sig. Man that was sweet though how you came back and stomped him the second time

yeah i was surprised he didn't run away like a coward too.........then again he is a camaro driver so that explains the decency and honesty right guys its a camaro thing
