Difference between a GT and std coupe?

I was thinking about cloning a 67 coupe into a GT. I already have the GT wheels, but I can't remember what else was different. Any experts out there know what and where on the badges and options inside and out?

yes, their GTAs, but you said GT so i just assumed that you wanted a GT not a GTA(keep that in mind when talking about it). GTAs also have a front 1/4 panel fender badge depicting "GTA".

well.. i can get really in depth with you here. how much detail are you going for, just make it look like a GT or GTA or are you going for the real deal?

Also, what engine/tranny are you running?

I want the real deal. Can't find a site that has the info or even good enough pictures.

the best site for that info would be at:

http://www.1967mustang.com

on the left hand side click "GT or GTA" probably all the info you will ever need.

Re: Difference between a GT and std coupe?

That is a good site. Thanks for the help. I have worked on a lot of 289/302 engines in the past and I restored a 69 F100 recently. I was looking for a car to build a resto-rod when I found this 67 coupe. I had been looking for a 68-69 Dart to put a 440 in, but the body on this Stang was so straight and rust free I couldn't turn it down. So now I am not a "Ford" man , yet I find myself owning two of them.
