calling all gp nuts

ive got a 1986 gp americana special edition, bucket seats florr mount shifter, what nis americana mean, how many made, is it worth holding on to? i called gm they couldnt tell me any info on it, it was made in canada so any help is appreciated

heres a pic of the badge on the vinyl top

Looking at KBB, they even do not know about the car and based on the link above looks like that this car was available only on the NE of the states so in the future it will be a collectible
