Unhappy A/C light blinks

When I press the A/C button on my 1998 Olds intrigue (3.8L), the LED blinks a few times and then goes out. Needless to say, the a/c does not work. I have the dual zone automatic weather control system. Also, my blower fan creates a lot of vibration when set to speeds above 2. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Re: A/C light blinks

DId you check the light bulb? If not you might have to replace the ac thing http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting. Pull everthing out and check it out first. My ac doesnt work also but its because i have a leak. good luck

Re: A/C light blinks

I had the same thing happen to a 99 intrigue (3.8L), but not the dual zone AC. Mine was a problem with the unit itself and had to replace. I agree a trip to ebay would be a good solution..

I believe you have a simple leak in your A/C. About the vibration maby there is something stuck in the high blower fan, or maby loose. Check it out yourself if you can. Take your car to someplace to have a leak test done. I bet thats your real problem, becaus ei got my refilled and it quite blinking for awhile then started doing it again, but thats because it all leaked out.
