weak AC
alright my ac works, but if it's moderately hot outside, i need to leave it on for like 10 minutes at full blast just so my car isn't too hot. and i need to drive with it on full blast just to compensate for the outside temperature. i'm sure that it is supposed to be stronger, is 'recharging' what needs to be done? how much is this or can i do it myself?

Re: weak AC
I had this problem recently, getting very gradually worse, until it quit altogether --- freon leak. Cost me 700 bucks to have a new evaporator coil & a hose replaced.

It dont cost a whole lot to get it recharged. I got my whole system drained and recharged for like $70, and it was well worth it!

Re: weak AC
Actually Honda's have one of the most efficient A/C systems on the market and from time to time can blow frost vapors. With a system with a small leak you'll loose that. So look around all your A/C connections for a clump of dirt, sounds strange but as the freon leaks so does a small amount of oil and dirt will stick to it. Look for a dirty connection or compressor and you found your leak.
