I Like Some Imports. Not Civics Or Hyundai Or Any Of Those But Like Nissan Skylines And Supra Tt And Rx7 All Of The Good Turbo Cars I Like I Almost Got A Skyline Actually A 98gtr Spec V Aws And Awd Twin Turbo But It Sold Before I Could Get It Then I Got My T/a Butthere Are A Fair Selection Of Imports I Like But You Can Never Go Wrong With A Gm Car. No Ford

Deffinetly cool, anything that con produce that much speed out of a little engine amazes me. I'm planning on buying one this fall for my year round car. My T/A is my baby. I know a lot of people always hate on other cars cuz they love their f-body and I understand but I think they are sweet either way.

Not Any Import Though People That Have Civics Think There Race Cars But Theyre Definately Not. Eclispe's Are Getting Overrated Too I Dont Like Them Too Much Any More.

The 3 to watch out for off the line are the STI, EVO and older DSM Eclipses. I ran 3 DMS's at my track and they all went 12.60 or better with 1.80 short times.

I ain't afraid of STIs I was disapointed with them, thought they would be faster than they are... Anyhow the import around my town that I wana take a crack at is the turbo 350z I've seen a time or 2.

2nd gen dsm's most notably the eclpse gsx/gst with about $2000 in aftermarket mods will own any stock trans am My freinds have learned the hard way Richard 98 T/a ws6 and Robert 97 camaro SS got theyre asses handed to them and the guys car in total was like 12k as opposed to these guys who were like at 28k+ Trust me those eclipses are no joke, I have respect for them also if u go look in the eclipse forum These guys know wtf they are talking about they provide a shit load of info Not like Some firebirs forums i can mention.

I'm definately partial to the american made cars . I will have to admit that at one time, I owned a Toyota Celica Supra , fast little shit. It was a fun car to tear up. I also own a Ford F250 4X4 w/36" swampers, Nice truck. I tow a small Samuri 4X4 behind it for the abuse in the mountains. I guess what I'm trying to say, imports keep me from tearing the shit out of my american beauties .

i'm not a big fan of imports myself, i was born and raised a gm sports car fan. I loved my dad's 79 Camaro Berlinetta and iv'e just loved them ever since. And if u ever race that 350z and beat it post something because i got my ass kicked by my friends z and i wanna hear about an fbody beating a Z

i have a video of a 96 (i think ) camaro beating a z
they really aren't that quick
a stock lt1 will run 14.1-13.7 in the 1/4
stock 350z will run 14.5-14.7

lt1 also has a higher top speed

You know...any F-body owner with the money could go out and spend a bunch of money on shit to make the car go a lot faster. And I will admit some of these imports are pretty nice and go pretty fast, especially after a bunch of mod's, But lets see twenty years down the road how long their import lasts after rodd'n the shit out of it and how much they could sale it for, and lets see how much the f-body will be worth.
