I have the RC lift on my 90 XJ. 4.5 and running 32s. If you want to run 33s you'll likely have to do some trimming. RC lift will catch you by surprise if you are not ready for it. Recommend that if you are buying the RC because of $$ limitations, that you rethink. I had to replace every bolt provided with the lift and upgrade to higher grade materials. That equated to the first run to the Auto Parts store. RC relocates your front sway bar instead of providing QDs. Once you try and disassemble the front sway bar mounts, you'll likely bust one of the XJ's mounting nuts and it will slide down into the unibody demi-frame. Next trip to the Auto store to buy a long handled magnate, and rent a tac welder to ensure the remainder of the nuts didn't cause the same frustration. Additionally, the relocation blocks looked flimsy to me, so I got online and ordered QDs from JKS. RC provides new LCAs, but they mount at original points, so the angle is EXTREME leading to a ride that allows you to feel every bump in the road....that leads to a purchase of LCA relocation brackets to correct the geometry, whew!
Install is pretty straight forward. The RC lift provides a tranny case drop system (4xpoly spacers). The lift does not provide shims to correct the drive line geometry. This will not matter initially, but once the lift settles in (@ 2k miles), you'll likely begin to pick up vibrations at @ 35mph. Another trip to the Auto Parts store to by 3* shims, a disassebly of the rear suspension, and then install of the shims to ensure the driveline is running in parrallel once again.
After all is said and done, I would have opted for another "MORE COMPLETE" lift system. Many are out there...don't let the price scare you, you'll end up paying that much or more to correct what the RC does not provide you.
