hey man my friend has 2 rs 5 speed engines. Since you might know that i wanna convert my car to a stick wut all will i need from the motor. I knoe that the pistons are fried and the head is screwed up, also i think that the bottom end is messed up a lil too. NOt to sure will find out more for you. But i need to get a parts list of wut i would need to get from my auto to a stick from his engine. Its all for free so im really luckin out on this. But imm not goin to put his motor in mine since its messed up. SO let me know. thx.

why does eveyone have a question for me? i feel special!
anyways... i dont really know much the 5spd swaps but there is a write up on it on www.vfaq.com - its for a 1st gen i believe but most of the parts should be the same, like new pedal assembly and the tranny, linkages, clutch, flywheel, tranny computer (TCU) and i believe you need a different harness... i am not really the person to ask about this but i am sure someone on the 2gnt forum that does and there is probably a list on there! just do a search and i'm sure you can find something about it!
