Thanks everybody who help me.
I clean my throttle body like you suggested and my car run. Like new. Vibration in drive on traffic lights is gone, after I replaced two aftermarket engine mounts on new Toyota from dealer. Automaker mounts made from rubber, and dealer has hydraulics shock inside what reduce vibration. Thanks for help. Leo. |

Re: Toyota 1993 vibration, gas padal freeze. Problem solved. Thanks for help
Congrat, Leo. Do u feel the vibration is only because the engine mounts or is also caused by throttle? How much is the cost to replace engine mounts? Do u mean there is hydraulic shock inside of the engine mounts?

Re: Toyota 1993 vibration, gas padal freeze. Problem solved. Thanks for help
Those rubber mounts with the internal Hydraulic shocks are EXPENSIVE!!! I have a 93 Camry. The mechanic says that he cannot even find aftermarket mounts for my Camry. Dealer item only. My mechanic just replaced my upper and lower mounts and the parts cost alone was over $350 bucks. This is not including that big engine shock absorber. This was only the price of the rubber mounts. Total repair bill with labor is $425 bucks to replace all the rubber mounts. If you don't change the mounts, the vibration will soon stress out the tranny and driveshaft linkages and you will end up with a bigger problem than what you started with. Just to add to Toyota's proud parts, the distributor also had to be replaced. $310 bucks from dealer.
