Finished =::Aoshima Bomex Supra::=

Finally finished this. Sorta lost interest in it because i wanted to start my turbo altezza. Anyway, heres the pics.

Artsy shot for you. I was just mucking around. As you can see, its a pretty crappy day. Just starting winter down under.

Pretty happy with the paint job. Cept for that little bit on the front bumper. If i cleared and polished it would come out ok though. Just never got round to it. Just stock wheels. Brakes painted silver with blue calipers.

Ass shot. No exhaust or number plate yet. Need some styrene for the exhaust. Hopefully soon.

ICE ICE BABY! lol. Shot of the amps, painted silver and gold, with the NOS bottles.

HKS and TRD inspired engine bay. All drybrushed silver cept for the top bit. I decided to leave the strut brace off. Clutters the engine, and covers to much imo.

Plz leave some criticism. Thx for looking.

Re: Finished =::Aoshima Bomex Supra::=

You may ask, and its on my desk. It practically is the AMT kit. Which i wanted to get, but couldnt find. Even if i did get it, i was going to paint it exactly the same. So i ordered this one off HLJ. Still 1/25 scale. Looks good next to my eclipse.
Also a note, i changed the headlights a little. The little silver bits are all meant to go in the top, and the clear bits in the bottom. But i really wanted a turn signal in the top ones, and the square one as a turn signal. So they have been moved a bit. The orange ones in the top dont quite fit, but still look effective.

Aoshima repackaged the AMT kit. It really is the AMT kit.

Nice job.

Re: Finished =::Aoshima Bomex Supra::=

After building the AMT Eclipse, and this, the Aoshima supra would be better quality than i imagine the AMT supra to be. I had no parts fit problems, everything was pretty clean, so hardly any cleaning. I didnt find any mould lines what so ever.

Re: Finished =::Aoshima Bomex Supra::=

I really hope you are from japan, cos if you got the Aoshima insted of the AMT, you really lost lot of money for nothing

Aoshima Bomes and AMT F&F are exactly the same kit.. everything is the same.. if you had less problem with the Aoshima, it's becose you'r getting better

anyway good work on the paint job !

looks nice, although IMO it would look better if you put the head light covers on

Actually, the only AMT Supra i found was nearly $50 AUD. This was only around $25 with shipping from HLJ. So i saved around $25. And i didnt really want the stupid decals anyway. If i got the AMT one, it wouldve looked exactly the same.

Thx for all the comments guys. Hopefully ill start a progress thread on my altezza soon.
