Rattling Dash/Door Panels
I also notice a rattle/crackle sound. Sounds like the dash isn't assembled too well but not sure. Door panels rattle because of speakers.
Know what the dash problem is? Any way to keep door panels from rattling other than Dynomat? |

Re: Rattling Dash/Door Panels
You need to isolate the sound, find exacally were is coming from, I've used little pieces of foam tape between panels to stop rattles.

Re: Rattling Dash/Door Panels
your door rattle may be a loose bolt on window regulater brackets or guides they have a tendency to loosen up can usualy hear it when closing door or during deep bass notes. my dash rattle was from the panel under steering wheel clips wher not holding it tight used a little foum tape to stop rattle.

The door rattle may be your stock tweeters(if they are stock). I have an '02 and both the driver's side and passenger side tweeters fell outof their mounts within months of each other. They are held in with weak plastic clips. Luckily mine was under warranty still(44K now and not yet 2 yrs off the lot) Someone I know had theirs fall out and said they used screws to re-attach the tweeters. Look carefully through your speaker grills as they are hard to notice when they fall out.

Re: Rattling Dash/Door Panels
Mine did this until about a month ago.. I took the door panels off and found a few loose bolts inside the door. I tightened them up and WALA...no more rattles!
