Greddy EVO II + HS Header?

Alright I have a Greddy EVO II exhaust right now, adn am going to get a header real soon, still debating between HS and Nismo. HS is a lot cheaper and have really good gains, but I hear that if you have the Greddy EVO II catback, you'll need to cut the piping when installing the HS header? If that's so, I'm going with nismo, and from somewhere i hear that nismo's not as good as hotshot, i don't know. any comments on cutting the piping from the EVO exhaust when installing the HS header?
