bg fuel system cleaner

does anyone know if you can use th BG Fuel system cleaner without the pressurized tool they sell. And if so could you explain it. Someone told me it was a really good product to restore engine performance but didn't say how to use it.

thanks

Re: bg fuel system cleaner

If you want to clean the fuel system purchase BG 44k in a can. You can dump the stuff right into your fuel tank before a fill up and it goes to work over the life of the fuel tank. It is a great product and you should try and use it every 15-20k.
There is also BG intake cleaner which is probably what your friend was talking about. You can feed it into the engine through a small vacuum line without the little feeder kit (I think that is what your talking about).

Re: bg fuel system cleaner

Joe that is the induction service you are referring to, BG also has a kit to clean the injectors which you need to tap into the fuel rail and run the cleaner in a pressure pot to clean the injectors.
