2002 mpg?
hi I am looking at buying a 2002 cavelier. I was just checking the specs at a website. It says it has a 115hp engine, which is a little less powerful than the late 90s version. but it says it only gets 33mpg on the highway
I am wondering what is up with that figure the late 90s ones are rated at 37, and my friends gets 40 half the time my grand am gets 33mpg if I drive nice. I am wondering what any 2002 owners get on average. Is it really that bad? |

Re: 2002 mpg?
Are you looking at an auto or a manual. the autos gets worse. I have an advertised 37 hwy, in my eco. recently I wen 400 of city driving on 13.8 gallons of gas if that is any indication.
Also check that 02 out. that was the first of the ecotec engine, see if it has an eco, or the old 2.2 |
