Thumbs down Stock Alarm Problem

Hey guys i just put a new engine in my 94 golf but the original owner had gotten the car stolen so now that the new engine is in i can't get the alarm to stay off to start the car any ideas need a lot of help

If the alarm is functioning properly you should be able to turn the key in either door to the unlock position to turn off the alarm. If you need I can tell you how to disable the alarm if it is malfunctioning.

well i mean there is a lot of body work being done right now and the door handles are off but how would i shut that whole system down and still be able to start the car??

Just above the fuse/relay panel you will find the alarm control module. It had a 6 pin & 10 pin connector. Disconnect the module & run a suitable size jumper wire between pin #5 & pin #6 of the 6 pin connector.
