Installing Mechanical Oil Press. Guage.
I need some help with this. Has anyone ever done it in their car?

i'm doing it right now,
not that hard... what guage did you get ? I used a Fitting from www.tuner-toys.com it has the correct threads on the adaptor for the oil pressure switch with a 1/8" NPT adaptor for the guage. Kun

I got the Autometer Phantom Oil Pressure.
Do you have a direct link to that part you used? I looked on that site and found nothing. I need to get this done before next thursday. How fast did they ship you that part? |

Is the oil pressure switch the thing above, and slightly to the left of the oil filter?

Be careful with those mechanical oil pressure gauges. I've seen those lines kink or pull from the guage resulting in a nice mess inside your car.

yah give it some slack when your installing, and give it a loose clip somewhere. just in case...

i had a mechanical one and it made the inside of my car smell like oil all of the time. so i got the electrical autometer ant it works alot better and is easy to install
