just bought a 95 M3... what should i do?

I recently (this week) purchased a 1995 M3 in perfect condition. The car only has 37,000 miles on it and is spotless. I wanted to know if anyone knows of any reliable websites or anything to get more information about this car and modifications that can be made to it. This begins from easy self modifications to more intense things that can be done to the car.

Any help will be great. Any extra information about the car would also be great.

www.bimmerforums.com is pretty good.. just make sure you do a search before asking this kind of elementary question.

www.umnitza.com has one of the highest quality headlights around. The upgrade to the U.S. spec headlights are the Euro Ellipsoids. The Euro's are a projector type headlight, which results in a much brighter light. And I assume you mean headlights when you say "lights."

As far as audio, you can probaly just go to your local car audio dealer and see your options.

bimmerforums.com This site is great I am always on there. Lots of people there are very helpful!

dtmpower.net another great site! Same helpful site when you need help.

Both these sites will direct you to basically what you might need or want to do with your car!

I am usually on both sites!

Also forgot CONGRATS on your new ride! Hope you enjoy it. If you don't mind me asking where you a previous BMW owner. If so you could feel the difference between the Mpower from the other.

Re: just bought a 95 M3... what should i do?

it really depends on what you want to do with your ride. there are tons of different manufacturers out there advertising and selling products. I would personally stay away from dinan, because they are too pricey, I would recommend going to www.m3motorwerks.com and checking out their stuff, they sell a lot of good performance products at a cheaper rate the original manufacturer. and also dont trust all of the dyno graphs most of them are BS. the only ones I would trusts is Active Autowerks coz they use a mustang dyno.

Re: just bought a 95 M3... what should i do?

Today, I just bought a 96 M3 58K miles, and I plan on doing a turbo upgrade in the future, but for now a short throw shifter is all it needs. IT came with an intake and a Dinan exhaust, damn thing HAULS ASS. I love it! I've ben doing a lot of research and those websites you guys posted are awsome, they are really informative. My question is about short throw shifters.

Who has one and what is the real difference between the short throw and the stock shifter? The websites are saying its 20 to 30% less throw, but how does it actually feel in comparison with the stock? thanx!!
