Lightbulb 1.9L Engine Compatibility

Does anyone know if the '89 1.9L is compatible with '93 1.9L.

I have a cracked Cylinder head and would like to use the head off of an '89 escort for my "93 escort.

Just want to make sure its ok.

I would appreciate the help.
Thanks

Re: 1.9L Engine Compatibility

Not comptible.

The older head does'nt have a cam sensor because of the different style of engine managment. Intake manifold stud location is different, but the two intake manifold are not compaitble because of the different kind of fuel injection between the two.
