02 Accord V6 Tranny Problem
Hi All,
Sorry if this topic has already been posted before. I am having some minor shift problems with my 02 Accord. When downshifting, it will sometimes slam into gear very hard, shaking the car. Also, during hard acceleration, it will the car with shudder when shifting out of first and into second. Anyone else experienceing this in their 02? Is this similar to the problems with the 00-01? I took it to the dealer, but they say nothing is wrong with it. It has roughly 47,000 miles on it. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

All Honda's (Acura's) automatic transmissions that mated to J series engine blocks have problems.
i know Honda extended warranty on 00/01 Accord V6, but i'm not sure if that applied to 02 models. but i would still go to dealer and complained about condition of transmission. transmission issue was discussed before, so browse thru this forum and you will find more info.
