Barn Door Automatic Lock
I am having a problem with my Automatic Lock on the rear barn doors.
The remote does not lock or unlock the door, nor does the lock switch in the rear, or on the drivers door. What could be the problem that would affect just this door, and how can I fix it myself? |

Re: Barn Door Automatic Lock
If non of the switches or remotes will lock or unlock a specific door, I would look towards a faulty lock actuator or a wiring fault at that actuator.

I had to clean the contacts that are in the door jam. I used a scotchbrite pad to get the corrosion off the metal. everything worked after that.

Re: Barn Door Automatic Lock
Thanks!
Cleaning the contacts worked, however not immediately, it took 2 days before it started working again, I was just about to look into how to replace the actuator and checked it just to see, and it worked! Thanks again! |
