should this even be a question? o_O A Trans Am versus a 300GT Sl, Hmmm, how about a Trans Am VS a Vr4? Hmmm I wonder who would win? lol theres no such thing as dumb people just dumb questions. ANd dog you KNEW the answer to this when you asked it so I aint flamin yah. But the Trans Am would rape a SL I mean litterally sticks its exhaust pipe up its ass and blow thats how bad it would get beat. And YES a TRANS AM WILL BEAT a VR4 stock to stock. Trans Ams run like 13 sec Quarter miles stock or better.

i know a good bit about cars but i'm unfarmiliar with pontiac, and american cars... i'm a import fanatic.. the only american car i really like are the older sting rays. so why are you in an 3000gt forum when you have a 240sx? i knew the answer, this is true, but i wonder if anyone would think other wise..

lol first of all I dont really have a 240SX I just put that crap in my info cause I didnt know what else to put. Im in between cars right now, I did have an Eclipse RS 2000, But I sorta still have it well me and my mom are sharing it and you couldnt register with out putting in a car. lol and I have no idea how to change the info. Any way I can be in ANY damn forum I want. I want to learn as much about any type of car as I can so I know what to expect when Im racing, and learn the potential of each and every car. lol So dont even try to bring up the "why are you in here when you dont have this car" crap, hell I visit the honda forums and Ive never had a honda I just want to know more about em so I know what to expect. And thanks for the clear up with the VR4 Quarter mile time, I didnt know it ran mid 13's. And a Trans Am can run in the high 12's stock with a REALLY good driver and slicks. Any ways.

yeah see I figured that man, thanks for clearing it up. The VR4 is alot heavier then the Trans am and a launch isnt always gonna make up for weight. Plus the trans am has more HP stock then the VR4. AH I knew it!

the vr-4 is always gonna beat the T/A off the line, then the T/A will generally walk thte VR-4 up top. T/A vs. SL

What about a race between the SL and the V-6 Firebird, I still have my money on the firebird because of torque and rear wheel drive. But I dont know, It should definetely be a lot closer than a T/A vs. SL, that wouldnt even be funny. . . .

Like yogs said it's a drivers race and if you look at Weight and HP they TA should win hands down but guess what they dont win all the time and that's pretty damn impressive for a heavy lady like the VR4.

Its important to remember that weigh, hp and torque are only the tip of the mountain when talking about a cars performance. The tires (traction), geering, power band and a host of others are in play.

Firebird v6 vs 3000gt SL? i say the 3000gt can beat the Firebird but then againg its more of a drivers race. What do you guys think? the SL has nothing to do against a Transam.

the SL should take v6 american cars without much of a problem, unless your just a horrible driver
