Exclamation Completed Initial D R32 Skyline GT-R (10 pics)

Finally, after almost a week of waiting for the paint to dry, it's complete!!
By far the best paint job I've ever done, and the first real model I've compounded and waxed. Too bad there's still some orange peel here and there. The progress thread is here: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=214188

Here's Team Night Kids, R32 and EG6

doesnt the 32 have silver rims?
and also to me the night kids decal is way too big, i put the smaller one.

supaman89,
FC3S http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ad.php?t=16606
EG6 http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ad.php?t=70353
FD3S http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=102966
GC8V http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=116810
I don't have a thread for the Evo3.

TanKaBoY, the rims are gunmetal, not silver. These big decal are the only ones I have, and I think they look great. Atleast they match with the other Initial D car's team logo in term of size.

Re: Completed Initial D R32 Skyline GT-R (10 pics)

Nice job. The NightKids decal is a little big, but just look right. I think you should have scratch built a big exhaust, and put a huge frount mount, like Nakazatos. Looks good with the EG6 to.
So whats next?

The car looks great. I guess you couldn't rub out the orange peel, but the hood looks smooth.

I think in the first stage in the anime the cars rims is gunmetal (when he challenges Takumi). In the second stage, the rims look much brighter.

Re: Completed Initial D R32 Skyline GT-R (10 pics)

Yeah, the peel is pretty bad toward the rear, but the doors are smooth like a mirror. Guess my painting skills still needs work.

I'm doing the Takumi Trueno next with scratch built engine.

Re: Completed Initial D R32 Skyline GT-R (10 pics)

that looks nice!! very shiny up until you get to the rear of the car. I love it. I'm starting a Initial D collection. I got the 180, Integra, and the Sileighty on the way. I dont enough money for the rest.

Keep it up man. I love the civic too.
