Aloha I am new here, writing from Hawaii, and I had a fight with a lugnut that is in really bad shape, totally stripped and warped on the outer part of it.So if I ever do get it to spin off it probably wont because it cant clear my rim hole(sorry) were the mount sticks out. I bought two new "keys" today at differnet times, bigger and bigger. Then I took it over to Lex Brodies to try a sweet talk(I am a girl) a guy to take it off for me. He told me @$79 an hour he would drill straight through the mount and break off the whole thing, then remount it. BTW I have a 91 Honda accord, with Eagle rims and shitty lugnuts. Anybody have any advise? Thank you , Becky

Re: stripped lugnut
Is it a locking lug nut? If so, most tire shops should be able to do it. Around here, they are usually around $20-40 per nut...sometimes higher depending on how hard they are to get to. Do you have a welder?? If so, take an old socket and weld it to the nut, then use a socket and it should come right off.
