thinking about buying 91 MR2 Turbo...help

Im thinking about selling my 98 Max SE 5spd for something else. I love the car but it I think its bad luck. I had the car for about 5 months and already had about 5 accidents, I was in the car for one of those and it was not my fault. The car should be going into the shop soon to get fixed and then im going to sell it. Im not sure what im getting next but im interested in a 95-98 Mustang SVT Cobra, Porche 944 turbo, DSM and an MR2. I found a 91 MR2 turbo with 75000 miles for $8,400. I havent looked at it yet but from pictures it looks like its in great condition. The price seems really high to me for that car or is it just about right? The Max was a little too big for me...im 5'3'', is the MR2 good for short people? The engine bay looks like there isnt much room. Is it hard to work on/mod? Also, are MR2s expensive to insure? Thanks.

sup, i got a 1991 mr2 for $1,800 but its a n/a. i'm like 5'6" and there's plenty of head room in the car. insurance costs me like 120 a month but thats maybe because i'm 16. My insurance type is full coverage at state farm.

I pay almost double that for my Maxima...im 17. I have full coverage with Prudential. Being n/a and not the turbo probably makes a big difference. Is working on the engine very hard?

That price sounds about right..., you'll fit fine in an MR2, its tall people who worry if they'll fit.

Its not as hard to work on the engine bay as people makr it out to be, and as for the insurance. I only pay 50 dollars more a year to insure the MR2 than I did for my old Acura Integra LS.
