Dropping in a M5 engine
I was wondering if any one tried dropping in an m5 engine into a m3 cause people wouldn't expect that kind of in an m3 and i'm wondering how much it would cost?

Re: Dropping in a M5 engine
How much does the m3 motor usually cost? Like the 95-99.

well an M3 motor will cost anywhere from $3000-$6000. with that kind of money, its possible just to get an M3, or the best way is to find a wrecked M3 with a useable motor and then do the swap yourself. sides I dont think that the E39 M5 motor will be able to fit into an E36 chassis. the displacement is almost 2x the normal E36 displacement. but we will have to wait and see.
