Unhappy Very low oil pressure

I couldn't find anything in previous topics that matched this exactly.

-I have a '90 GS, my oil pressure guage reads very low ( almost none ) when I very first start my car, and when I'm @ idle. As soon as I rev it up a little it goes up. I just did an oil change. Please tell me it's not the pump! Thanks to anyone who can help, you have been a big help so far.

-Luke
