Engine Swap Compatibility

I'm new to the whole engine swap idea, and was wondering, what engine could I easily and affordably swap into my 91 2.2 Cavalier? It has an A/T but I would be more than happy to dump that too.

Any intelligent comments appreciated.

Re: Engine Swap Compatibility

Anything is possible with enough money. I saw a guy put an LT1 in a 99 Cavy.

I did'nt say "LS1". I said "LT1". As far as pics go, I just saw it, heard it, and talked to the guy for about 5min. This was about 1 1/2 years ago. I lived in K.C.M.O. Anyway, I can understand the B.S. part. I would be hard pressed to believe it also, untill I saw it. I still stand by my belief that, anything is possible with enough money.

Nope, just a guy I met at a carwash in K.C.M.O. You could hear his car. That's what turned my head. He was a little rich boy. But, if you've got the finances. More power to ya. I never even caught his name.
