I got a good little scare today

Last night I decided to wash my car. I parked it on my driveway, which is pretty slanted. I normally park it so the rear end is slanted downward, so in case I get water up there, it would just flow out. But last night I forgot to do this. After washing the car, I parked it back in the garage (which is also a bit slanted) with the nose of the car still pointing down. This morning I was ready to go to school, I sat in my car and starts up my car...or at least try to. All I got was sputtering and coughing. I was like "wtf" so I went to the back of my car and looked at my exhaust, there was a stream of light smoke coming out of the exhaust. At first I thought some kid threw a potato up there or something, so I peeked inside, but I saw nothing. So I went back to the car and tried again. I started stepping on the gas and turning the key. I did this for two minutes, and filled the entire garage with gray smoke and I could smell this awful scent even when my car door and windows were closed. I got out of my car to check again, the smell was awful, I thought some animal crawled up my Greddy EVO II exhaust and I was burning it alive inside. Then I remembered I washed my car the previous night and noticed how the car was parked, at first I was like "omg I hydrolocked my car!" But a few seconds later I realized that was impossible to do from the exhaust pipe unless I had the car completely verticle with the nose pointing down so the water would flow down the pipe into the headers, adn then somehow turn itself so it goes into the engine. I swear I was getting high off of all that smoke. I went back into my car and once again started stepping on the gas and turning the key, and finally my car roars back to life. I let it run for a minute, then turned it off and went to the rear to check my exhaust once again. There was water all over the ground and the lawn mower behind my car. It looked like it was SPRAYED out of my exhaust cuz it had that spraying pattern. By that time my garage was totaly gray. But yeah that was my story this morning, I got a good little scare out of it cuz I thought something was realy wrong with my car. Has this happened to anyone else before? could this be bad to the car? Anyone?
