'99 Prizm, interior light assembly
The latch on my wife's '99 Chevy Prizm overhead interior light broke off. I went to my local Pick-A-Part thinking I could just grab one out the junk yard and replace it, but they told me they don't have any Prizm's of that recent a model.
My question is, can anyone help me figure out how long that same interior light part has been used for the Prizm? I'm thinking that it is likely to have not changed in a while, thus extending the date range of vehicles I could look for ain a junk yard. Also, wondering if I could find the same part information for Geo Prizms, and, Toyota Corollas as I hear they are essentially the same vehicles. Any help would be appreciated

marcalan, thank you for your interest and concern in my desire to repair my wife's Prizm. The Shizam is a fine automobile
 especially with its new serpentine belt. so glad she got that replaced, it was super cracked when the mechanic showed it to her. heheh, calls in the queue. Calls? we dont need no stinking calls!

try looking for one in a 96-99 prism or corolla
