hi all....
im new to this site so im sorry if i sound like a twat... i am not new to cars as i am a audio technition and electrician but i have not got all the experiance about engines.... i would like to know how to tune my car without upgradeing it I.E.... k&n or exhaust... just a few tweaks for me to do on it as now.... i have a vauxhall cavalier 2.0 I 8v if anyone can help itl be brill!!!! cheers [email protected] |

You don't sound like a twat; you sound English to me.
One of the advantages of modern electronic engine controls is that they eliminate a lot of the minor tuning and tweaking necessary in the old days. First, make sure all the normal maintence items are looked after, such as plugs and plug wires, valve adjustment, if applicable, new oxygen sensor, if arequired, etc. The intake and exhaust mods are the easiest to do, as is a performance chip for the ECM, if they are available for your car. |

thanks i apreciate the reply but i dont know what an "ECM" is but i know how to do all the tuning to the air and exhaust systems....
any other ideas.... |
