New bodies

Hi im taking a Fujimi Nissan skyline R 32 that is a replica of the one in Initial D. Im going to modify the body to fit on an Xmods car. I also added the comand lights. I still have to paint the body and extend the Xmods wheelbase. I have one question can i aply decals and then sprae paint on a clear coat without hurting the decals? For some reason i cant post pics so they are in my gallery

Re: New bodies

Paint the body first wait a good time to dry, then apply the decals. Make sure, if you are going to clear coat, to wait for the decals to be completely dry before doing spraying the clear coat.

you can clear coat, but wait for a week or so for the decals to be completly dry, and start with mist coats, really mist, cause a light wer clear coat can ruin the decal so be careful, besides of this... nothig happens, two mist coats... and the wet coats, and clearcoated decals

I already hate Skylines but why are you going to make it even worse by putting it on an XMod. A perfectly good model going to crap...

its not going to waste as the mounts are under the trunk and bonet. The model is a curbside so i can put the body on the Xmods or chasis and interior.
